Car Battery Died, Skype to the Rescue - 08 May 2006 EDT

Well, on Friday, I was about to leave work when I noticed my car door keycode wasn't working. Upon further inspection, I noticed that my car wouldn't start. (Furthermore, I was the only one there)! Thank God for SkypeOut Wireless Internet (I have no cell phone). I just called my friend Richard and he drove over and gave me a jumpstart!

Lockheed Martin - 04 May 2006 EDT

It's kind of funny that I got an internship with Lockheed Martin. I'm thankful , I really am. But a week or so before my interview, I got a notification from a supervisor of all the resumes at UMBC. I was told to take "To be an ambassador for Jesus Christ" off of my resume. Of course I refused with gladness and explained that I must give him honor. Turns out, I ended up having a great little chat about Jesus Christ during my interview. And Bam! I was hired. Wow, I'm lovin it!

Microsoft gives FREE Domain names - 03 May 2006 EDT

Wow! I can't believe it, Microsoft is giving away free domain names for small businesses. I just registered www.neutrius.com for my mp3 player (along with a release of 1.51)

Microsoft Interview - 08 Mar 2006 EST

Well, it looks like i'm heading down to Redmond, WA for Microsoft Interview #2. I think it will be a fun spring break! They pay for the hotel, rental car. I'm not sure if I'd rather work for Microsoft or Borland or just jump out of software completely and serve the children in Romania...Nonetheless it will be a fun trip!
Yep yep and Neutrius 1.5 is up. I made a big jump. Still support for the old skins
except this time I added a volume bar and some more stuff. Even the installer will completely remove itself and the app. Neutrius 1.50

Happy New Year Synergy - 01 Jan 2006 EST

If you have two computers -- laptop/desktop/whatever -- you can use this AMAZING program called Synergy to increase your productivity! Use the computers JUST as if they were ONE computer, when you move your mouse all the way to the left, BAM! it will jump onto the next computer. For Synergy, I created an Easy Setup Wizard.

I also updated Neutrius and fixed a few bugs and updated the screenshots.

2 New Progs - 07 Nov 2005 EST

I put up two new programs today! Check out the SR Tracker online account saver and the PowerNamer file renaming utility. I have also been experimenting with MS Visual Studio, which is very nice so far! There are a ton more programs I can put on here. I have this problem finishing apps. I start new software all the time, but then I get tired of 'finishing' them. But one day I'll finish all my software on here.

My new website - 29 Jun 2005 EDT

Due to my transformation at UMBC, I have decided to make a new website with my testimony. It has my favorite links.

Visions from God? - 10 Sep 2004 EDT

Hmmm, I was browsing around the web and I came across a website. This guy's grandfather used to smuggle bibles into Romania and He had seen some visions of God and Angels, He passed away and now his grandson is seeing visions too. Some were on the war in Iraq...See for yourselves

New Ideas - 13 Jun 2004 EDT

Well It has been a long time since I have updated this site. Maybe because I have been working on some chess programs for a few grandmasters....Anyway, I've been wondering about what to do with this website. I'd like to make it more interesting perhaps adding articles or at least news.

Code Project - 16 Apr 2004 EDT

As a Software Developer, I just love the articles written on CodeProject. Even though not many of them are borland related, they are still excellent to look at! It is a must-read for any programmer.

Super Mario 4!? - 27 Jan 2004 EST

I have found myself a new love! Remember one of the greatest games for Nintendo, Super Mario Bros. 3? Well DahrkDaiz has created a whole new game using the Super Mario Bros. 3 engine. There is a couple new Mario guys. One I like is Magic Mario who shoots stars and can jump on practically everything. This game is MUST-PLAY and MUST-BEAT. In fact you must thank him personally for this game. He spent 14 months on it and is still in school. You should ask him how to donate him money. Enough chatter, download this game now. (remember this is a ROM hack)

WarDriving - 24 Dec 2003 EST

Do you have a wireless network? Or perhaps a laptop with a wireless card. Then you can help participate in Wardriving. Wardriving is the act of using wireless networks to access the internet. Just drive around and use some software to detect them and connect. It is that easy. For people with wireless networks, we ask you to allow wardrivers free internet access. But please do not share any important files.

EinGame Codes - 02 Dec 2003 EST

Well since no one can seem to beat EinGame, I just have to post a couple of secrets. As soon as you open EinGame, before you click single player. Push the arrow keys! Ein will come out of hiding. You can then get a secret item behind the credits. Look to the right to see if you got it!

Best Senior in Computer Science - 16 May 2003 EDT

Two nights ago I visited the award ceremony and achieved
the senior award for computer science. I am graduating in
exactly 4 days. I can't wait. Today, the latest version of Maven
is available for only $12.99. The reason I am asking money
for Maven is for the support of youth in computer science.
Consider it a Graduation Present. Thanks guys!

Maven [The All-around Utility] - 07 Apr 2003 EDT

After working hard for 2 straight weeks on a new project.
I have created an all-around utility for Windows. It docks
like the taskbar, or hides to the tray. It's a MUST SEE.

and interested in helping the development of Noxi.net

Reindeer wins 1st prize! - 14 Mar 2003 EST

Last night, I visited the award ceremony for the Intel Science fair.  Reindeer was
awarded 1st place from the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association.

Reindeer also received an Honorable mention in the computer science category.
I was surprised to find other winners of computer science awards having built
computers. All computer programmers know there is a fine line between computer
science and computer engineering.

Thanks to everyone who beta tested it and look forward to more releases.

Mp3 Player Created!!! - 10 Mar 2003 EST

I realized that every other mp3 player uses so many system resources!?!?
After a couple of days I whipped out my new mp3 player that simply plays
a desired song or playlist. No visualizations, just play the song.
Sorry guys, it only works with Windows 2000/XP
Neutrius was a name I came up with after a conversation with a friend
who suggested Neuclius and Neutral. I decided to combine the 2 names.
Gimme some feedback. Thanks

Upgrading from C++Builder 5 to C++Builder 6 - 02 Mar 2003 EST

Sorry for the lack of updates, its been over a month! The problem with websites
is the fact that they are worthless unless updated.

I recently upgraded to the new version of C++Builder 6. I love it, it absolutely rocks.
There is only one problem. While opening my new Reindeer source files in C++Builder 6,
I can't get the chessboard component to install due to some linking errors.
So for now on, I could continue developing Reindeer without a chessboard, or I could
try to get it fixed.  I'll keep you guys updated!

New Case + ICQ Lite  - 01 Feb 2003 EST

This case is amazing, they made everything so easy.  The front display
of temperature and the 5 ultra-silent cooling fans make this awesome.
Not to mention the lock on the side to prevent quick theft, and the lock
on the front to prevent accidental reboots. Check it out.

(before)                           (after)

ICQ Lite. After ICQ started adding all the stupid stuff in ICQ 2000, i decided
I needed icq 98, but I got that and it was missing some key features such
as groups. I guess after such high demand for a better crap-free ICQ, AOL
decided to make ICQ Lite. Surprisingly it is actually pretty awesome. Despite
the new message format, it is pretty nice. No advertisements!

New 2.8gHz pIV + 2nd at Liberty Bell  - 30 Jan 2003 EST

I finally updated my old 667mhz cpu with 768 mb ram to a new
Pentium 4 2.8Ghz with 1.0 gb of ram

The reason it took me so long to upgrade was because I inserted the
CPU in sideways and I was trying to figure out why nothing would display
to the monitor. When installing something new, ALWAYS read
the directions.

Two weekends ago I went to the Liberty Bell chess tournament in Philadelphia, PA
After an intense last round game - where I had to checkmate my opponent with
knight and bishop - I tied for 2nd and pocketed $447.50

Interesting Website + Reindeer Beta 7 + Chess player cheating!?! - 07 Jan 2003 EST

While chatting in the Helper's chat on ICC, PiBoy posts this website
on when to use apostrophes. Its interesting that they actually have an
organization dedicated to this. Link: http://www.apostrophe.fsnet.co.uk/

Reindeer Beta 7 has got to be the best beta out so far.  With a new "Away"
interface, it even gets easier. (it is kind of like AIM's away). It is as easy
as clicking "Go Away" and leaving, it does the hardcore ICC commands
for you.

Great, someone decides to use the new Pocket Fritz to cheat in a tournament.
The only problem is, the guy leaves the chess board every 2 moves and
during "his" move. Link: http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp?newsid=693

additions.

Announcing EzAlarm +Bobby Fischer Story - 26 Nov 2002 EST

The work Reindeer has come to a pause for a little bit. In the meantime,
EzAlarm -a computer clock and timer alarm- has been created. Click the
link on the left and download it.

While Browsing the web, I came across a story about Bobby Fischer,
one of the greatest chess players of all time. It includes his whole life story

AOL Instant Messenger even better! - 14 Nov 2002 EST

I have become addicted to AOL's Instant Messenger. While Pondering about
whether to create an Instant Messenger Client for windows, I came across
My IM. It takes the advertisements and everything away from AIM.
This is by far the best thing that has ever been created. Thankyou
Matt Pandina!
